The Village of Chase is grateful to be located and provide services within Secwepmculecw, the traditional territory of the Secwepemc people.

The Village of Chase, at the western gateway of the spectacular Shuswap Lake system, is a vibrant and progressive community with a full range of amenities to serve your needs. Whether you are planning a vacation in the area or looking to live in the community, abundant opportunities await you.

We are located on the shores of Little Shuswap Lake in the mountainous eastern region of the South Thompson River Valley. Mount Scatchard and Mount Boysee dominate the southern horizon, while the northern side of the valley is defined by the Shuswap Highlands that rise to 1,830 meters.

As the service centre for the area, Chase has a full range of lifestyle and business opportunities which compliment the scenic splendour of one of the most popular tourism areas in the province. This business-friendly community, in close proximity to the larger centres of Kamloops and Salmon Arm, has something for everyone. You will find our community willing to assist you in whatever venture you wish to pursue.

Chase is home to one of the few public beach areas in the Shuswap Region for summer recreation activities. In the winter it is only a 90 minute drive to the fabulous Sun Peaks Ski Resort on Tod Mountain or the Silver Star Resort near Vernon. Local cross-country ski and snowshoe trails exist only minutes from Chase. Additional winter recreation opportunities include snowmobiling and visiting our Ice Arena.

The favourable climate and convenient location make Chase the right choice for a wide variety of special interests. The price of land and housing makes Chase an affordable choice for commercial and residential real estate purchases. The Trans Canada Highway improvements are well underway, which will make Kamloops a very comfortable commute.

The Village Council and staff are committed to fostering economic growth and would be pleased to assist anyone interested in investing or relocating to our community.
