The local office is Kamloops Assessment. The 2021 Property Assessment Notices are mailed out in January.
Property assessments are carried out by BC Assessment and their website at www.bcassessment.ca offers a variety of useful tools such as:
- A great tool to compare your assessment to similar properties in the neighbourhood. It can be found on BC Assessment’s Interactive Map (updated on January 4, 2021);
- News releases and up to date Assessment information;
- An online Notice of Complaint (Appeal) form is available during the month of January on BC Assessment’s Forms page. This allows property owners to request an independent review of their property value.
